Plot

The war between Earth and Mars was the Earth's victory; until Mikazuki escapes the Gjallarhorn lab with Gundam Barbatos Jager, the mobile suit recreated with Gjallarhorn's essence of technology. The tide of war between Earth's Gjallarhorn and Mars changes immediately as Mikazuki takes the side in Mars. With supreme mobility and reflexes, Gundam Barbatos Jager wipes out hundreds of Earth's mobile suits, seeming like the end towards the war is near. 

Gjallarhorn, hoping to flip this situation, decides to create a mobile suit to counter, or at least stop Barbatos from obliterating Gjallarhorn troops. The mechanics decided to use Gundam Bael as the base for their project, because not only does Bael symbolize Agnika Kaieru, the founder of Gjallarhorn, but also a revolution of the era. Besides, there would be no point in preserving Gundam Bael in Gjallarhorn treasury if Gjallarhorn loses the war. The pilot of Bael Svalinn is Julieta Juris, the new leader of Gjallarhorn. She decides to take Alaya-vijnana and pilot this mobile suit to encourage Ghallarhorn soldiers, but also because she is a very talented pilot who once defeated Barbatos and has experiences.

Form

Gundam Bael Svalinn has neither the power, speed, nor reflex of Barbatos, but it has extra thick armor plates to withstand Barbatos' brutal melee attacks and reflex good enough to defend itself from most of the attacks. Most of the Bael's new form comes from Barbatos' combat data to fight equally against Barbatos in melee attack.

Armaments

Arm Blade

Designed based on Barbatos Lupus Rex's arm, Bael Svalinn's arm has two blades attached on the back side of each arms that can be used for slashing enemies. The blades can be detached from the arms to hold them with hands.

The grip of the arm blades can be folded when they are stored inside the arms.

Bael Sword II

The original Bael sword was designed as a regular sword due to Agnika Kaieru's symbolization of his strength, who needed no other armament. However, the new Bael sword is designed to have bigger size and wider area, as Bael can easily wield the swords with its giant arms to give fatal damage to mobile suits and defend itself from any incoming projectiles.
