Custom Build: Gundam Flauros Hex
ASW-G-64 Gundam Flauros
Plot
After the failure of Tekkadan's attempt to destroy Arianrod fleet, the torso of Gundam Flauros flowed around the space until it was retrieved by merchants traveling to Mars. Luckily, the Ahab reactors of Gundam Flauros were not damaged so the merchants put them on their sales list.
Nadi Yukinojo Kassapa and Yamagi Gilmerton, the former mechanics of Tekkadan and the founders of Kassapa Factory, decides to purchase what is leftover of Flauros and restore it into its original state. Additional armors and functions are added for higher combat ability. The word "Hex" was added because when Gundam Flauros Hex transforms into shelling mode, it has 6 legs.
Form
The biggest change of Gundam Flauros Hex lies within its combat style. During the time Flauros flought under Tekkadan, its main role was to demolish its enemies with the incredible power of railguns. Although a single warhead can penetrate multiple enemies in one shot, due to size of warhead, only one shot was available per railgun unless there was resupply. After firing the the railgun once, the railguns became useless and the rest of battle depended on Alaya-Vijnana system; Norba Shino was not able to pull out the full potential of Flauros.
The new Flauros Hex focuses in its function of transformation and shooting railguns. For stability when firing railguns, two sub-arms are equipped on the backpack and the waist of Gundam frame was reinforced to withstand bigger weight. Ammunition box and sub reactor is attached on the backpack for continuous attack with railgun, giving Flauros a style of hit and run tactics.

Shelling Mode
Shelling Mode (Front)
The new Flauros Hex's greatest power lies in its shelling form. When transforming into shelling mode, the hidden sphere censor appears, providing higher accuracy and better vision for firing the railgun. Additional ammunition box attached on each side of railguns have 9 warheads per box, being able to fire 20 warheads in total including the warheads loaded in the railguns. Although these warheads are smaller and weaker compared to Dainsleif, it is still strong enough to penetrate several enemies in single shot.
Because Gundam Flauros Hex's main strength lies in shelling form, its main combat tactic is to continuously snipe enemies and change position. The additional thrusters and sub-arms help Flauros to quickly change direction or location.
Flauros Hex's hidden scope
Shelling Mode (Side)
What was very unsatisfying with the original Flauros was that the shelling mode looked uncomfortable due to steep angle of leg in shelling mode and the feet could not completely touch the ground whenever the legs didn't maintain their fixed angle.
The new legs have ankles that can bend to higher degrees, making it easy for the feet to completely touch the ground in any circumstances.
Shelling Mode (Rear)
There are thruster, third Ahab Reactor, and sub-arms newly attached on Flauros Hex's backpack. The thrusters on the back provide propulsion when either moving in mobile suit form or shelling form.
The third reactor in the backpack works as the main source when Flauros goes to shelling mode. The two Ahab reactors in Flauros focuses on launching projectiles as third reactor works on manipulating the main body. Also, the third Ahab reactor can change the Ahab frequency of Flauros, distracting the enemies from locating the Flauros's location. However, the extra reactor does not enhance the output of Flauros as it is not directly connected with the other two reactors.

Although the main color and the eye symbols of Gundam Flauros remains unchanged in order to represent Kassapa Factory, the pilot of this mobile suit is Ride Mass, who finally decides to stop his vengeance of Orga Itsuka and fight in order to protect what Orga have left for Tekkadan and to protect the Martians from Gjallarhorn's rampage.

The sub arm on the side of backpack can be fold.
Extra armor on waist to protect and to bear the increased weight of backpack.
Drill Knee & Enhanced Shield
Although Flauros Hex's greatest strength lies within the shelling mode, it is also the Flauros's greatest weakness: fighting in melee range. In order to cope with this problem, the mechanics decided to use Kimaris Vidar's leg design. Once an enemy is within the melee range, Flaurous can easily neutralize the enemy with single knee kick. Also, 120mm machine gun and extra plate of armor have been mounted on Flauros's forearm shields, being able to deal with mid to close combat.
What an amazing design.
